Joint Tenants

Joint tenants refers to how property owners specifically own property or land.  If you own a property as Joint Tenants, the property would automatically pass to your joint owners if you were to pass away.
If a Joint Tenant wished to gift their proportion of a property to somebody other than the Joint Tenant they would not be able to do so unless they converted to Tenant in Common.
