If you're dealing with the death of a relative and have to apply for probate Canterbury, you may require some help. IWC can take care of the whole process for you for a low fixed fee, including estate valuations, obtaining the grant or letters of administration, dealing with financial institutions, HMRC and the Department of Work and Pensions and liaising with all beneficiaries.
We are specialists in estate administration and probate, highly qualified, fully regulated and insured but unlike other organisations, do not charge excessive rates based on the value of the estate. Rather than charging between 1-5% of the estate's value, we believe probate should cost the same no matter how much money is involved. After all, the amount of work is no different whether you have £30,000 in a bank account or £300,000.
Our local branch will be happy to provide you with a quote. If you have any questions or concerns we offer free help and advice. Or why not book a no obligation appointment to discuss your case in detail;

A Brief Guide
Applying for probate involves completing various forms and sending off required documentation to the controlling registry. Canterbury probate applications are dealt with by the Maidstone office in Kent. Although, at this time, they are directing general enquiries through to the Brighton District office, their email address is BrightonDPRenquiries@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk
You must value the estate prior to submitting your application as you'll be required to declare whether or not the estate is excepted (whether inheritance tax is due or not). You'll need to fill out various forms to inform the government and if the estate is liable, a full tax return must be forwarded to HMRC.
When everything has been received and checked, you'll receive a letter inviting you to attend an interview. The applicants must attend, answer any official questions and swear an oath to declare that the information that's been provided is correct. Provided there are no problems, the grant or letters of administration will be issued.
