Our fixed fee Probate and Estate Administration service includes:

1. Corresponding with all Executors/Administrators and Beneficiaries
   
   
2. Contacting all of the deceased's bank, financial institutions and other non-property asset holders
   
   
3. Completing Inheritance Tax Form IHT205 or IHT400 as necessary
   
   
4. Taking care of Creditor mail and email to the deceased
   
   
5. Handling payment correspondence with the Funeral Directors
   
   
6. Dealing with all correspondence with the Inland Revenue and making sure all Taxes are paid as appropriate including completion of form R27
   
   
7. Dealing with switching off and cancelling Utilities and Insurance on Vacant property
   
   
8. Arranging valuations of personal chattels (e.g. furniture) and assets (e.g. shares, property) as required. Note these may involve third party fees of which the Executors/Administrators will be informed
   
   
9. Calculating the final value of the Estate - writing to all institutions and obtaining the correct valuation
   
   
10. Liaising with Employers or the Dept of Work and Pensions in regards to any income received in the tax year and ensuring any rebate is received
    
    
11. Placing a Statutory notice in the London Gazette and a Local Newspaper. Note that the cost of this is in addition to our fees
    
    
12. Preparing the necessary Assent forms for the property transfer or liasing with the Conveyancing team and Estate Agents if a sale is required. Note that fees relating to the sale of a property are not included in our fixed fee quotation
    
    
13. Preparing final Estate Accounts for the Executors/Administrators and any Beneficiaries as required
    
    
14. Carrying out Bankruptcy searches on all Beneficiaries
    
    
15. Obtaining receipts from all Beneficiaries
