Paul Baker had been dealing with our grandmother's estate when our mother died suddenly. As he came recommended we used IWC for mum's estate too. 

I found Paul Baker to be communicative, things were clearly explained and all queries were answered promptly, often on the same day. 

It took a year and 9 months as we ran into various complications, however these were handled as they arose and developments reported back to me.

It was good to have the support of someone who obviously knew what he was doing at such a difficult time.

IWC handled the estate of my late mother in respect of both the probate application and the Land Registry of the property that had been the family home. The service that was provided from the first home visit until the process was completed was first rate and I would recommend IWC without hesitation. My personal thanks go to Stella Smith who dealt with everything on our behalf. 

We were kept regularly up to date with the progress that was being made and everything was made as easy as possible for us at a very trying time. The total cost for all of the work was around 50% of the two other quotes that I had received and the timescale to completion was much shorter than I had been led to believe by the two other companies.

I needed to transfer deeds to a third party but due to various legal issues I appreciated that this was not going to be straight forward. I commissioned a local solicitor to do the job but after 3 months and a number of interim fee payments we had not moved forward and the solicitors I commissioned wanted me to discuss the situation with another solicitor - at this time I decided to cut my losses, looked on the Internet for an alternative solution, found IWC and within a retentively short time the transfer had been done and at LESS than the various interim charges made by the solicitors who did not complete the work

I would like to express my thanks for everything you have done to sort out probate for my father's estate, which was complicated by liability to inheritance tax and a house held as tenants in common. 

Having heard of friends being charged tens of thousands for sorting out an estate, it was a welcome relief to find an organisation that gave a fixed quote for specific services.

Paul Baker of IWC administered and wound up the estate of my late father on behalf of my sister and me. He very quickly came to the house and took all the documentation he required. From then on he most efficiently dealt with grant of probate, father's various bank accounts and shares. Through his professional contacts, father's house was sold and a reasonable price secured. Paul dealt with all utilities relating to that. At all times he was most assured and cheerful. He gave me full confidence. This was the second time I have used Paul's services and I would have no hesitation in using him again and in recomending him to others. Link to original posting

After I had lost both parents it was a very difficult time for the family and carrying out my parents last wishes was not a easy thing to do, in going through the paper work I rang and spoke with Dawn Williams who was assigned to the case, Dawn was very professional, whilst being very supportive she was at the phone any time I rang she went through every step of the way with the family, Dawn made us feel comfortable she was very human her understanding and caring nature was outstanding, we felt that Dawn has become part of the family, she was at the end of the phone whenever we felt uncomfortable or feeling down as caring out the last wishes can be very difficult but without Dawn we could never have done it. We would like to thank her from the bottom of our hearts, for being there for us from start to finish, there is absolutely nothing I could say was negative or unhappy with. Dawn was extremely sensitive towards our needs we were well informed throughout Dawn would explained and made sure we understood each step. There is no way that I could have dealt with claiming my late brothers estate without the help of IWC and I can't recommend them highly enough. I have been very pleased with the way Paul Baker and IWC handled everything, particularly the speed with which they responded to any queries. When I instructed IWC I was a bit sceptical about the fact I only found very good comments on reviews etc. With not a single bad one. Their excellent service has dispelled that scepticism. I contacted IWC and received an immediate response. One of their representatives came to our home the very next day at a time that was convenient to Us. He was well presented, courteous and professional. We discussed our requirements and it was explained how the process worked in basic terms. We were then forwarded to another of IWC's representatives (Paul Baker) who kept us up to date with emails and personal phone calls throughout. All in all, considering the terms in which we met/spoke I would have to say that I cannot fault IWC and in particular Paul Baker in their/his handling of us. Highly recommended. Many thanks. As I am sure is normal when deciding what to do re Probate is quite stressful particularly when someone close has passed away. As in business I decided to get quoations from at least 3 Probate providers, IWC being one. Their represented visited and covered all details in a very clear manner which was most helpful. Other suppliers were also good in presentation but not as competitive as IWC which obviously is important. Once the decision to use IWC was made and all estate information passed over everything was covered by IWC, including the sale of a property, taking the added stress away and eventually efficiently concluded . I can't recommend IWC highly enough. Paul Baker dealt with the probate of my father's estate in a thoughtful and professional manner. If I had any problems or concerns, he was always at the end of the phone or email. The death of my father was a sad and difficult thing to deal with and Paul made it that much easier. My Mother passed away in January 2011 and I was having difficulties with her bank in releasing papers from their safe deposit vaults. Tony Crocker dealt with the bank on my behalf and although it took a year to get a result I fear without IWC 's help it would have taken 5! Thank you very much.

Existing Will was reviewed and a Deed of Variation recommended. Meeting was held with all beneficiaries and agreement reached with all parties. Documentation was prepared for Oath and IHT205 return.All of the above was conducted in a friendly and professional manner with due regard to the grief that the family had suffered. Following a short meeting with the IWC representative to qualify my requirements I was contacted by a specialist to take my instructions and offer advice. This included arranging Probate, a variation to a will, settlement of insurance policies, transfer of property and final completion of my late fathers estate and tax liabilities. I was recommended to IWC by a friend who had used your services. As a result you drew up Wills for me and my wife. I then referred IWC to my father who also revised his Will.Since he has now passed away I have been impressed by the manner in which Paul Baker has dealt with the probate. I would like to thank all at IWC (especially Tony Crocker & Paul Baker) who quickly & sympathetically helped my sister & I get probate granted for my late Mother after we had experienced quite an upsetting encounter with a local solicitor. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Dagmara. I contacted her in connection with my mother's reseal of probate knowing absolutely nothing about the system as I actually live in Australia. She communicated with me regularly and assisted me with the bank details and provided me with all I needed to complete the transaction. I could not have asked for more. IWC managed the administration of my mother's estate, including creation of a Deed of Variation to redistribute some of her legacy within the family. This became a protracted business when HMRC decided to carry out an investigation before finally agreeing to pay out a tax refund. After work was completed, I wrote to our probate manager, Paul Baker, as follows:

Just to confirm that I have safely received the pack of paperwork including the originals of the Grant of Probate and the Deed of Variation, also the passport, building society books and death and marriage certificates.

Tony Crocker and IWC dealt with the probate for my Late father as well as liaising with Spanish Lawyers as there was a Spanish Property involved. They were always immediately accessible by telephone and email and always responded to any emails within the hour.
 
I wholeheartedly recommend IWC. They were constantly reassuring and were extremely prompt and efficient

My partner and I requested IWC to prepare our wills. Tony Crocker has been extremely helpful in ensuring we both understood the process. He has responded quickly and fully to our queries both in email and by telephone and where we found the legal language somewhat confusing Tony clarified this for us.

Overall we have been very satisfied with the service provided by IWC and would recommend them to friends and colleagues

IWC are a breath of fresh air, Dagmara dealt with our family probate case and from start to finish there was no hassle at all. No chasing up, no delays, everything was explained and went according to plan and the price was also very reasonable.

All issues were managed expertly and good advice given promptly throughout the process. The company's excellent guidance saved our family a considerable sum of money. I would thoroughly recommend it

IWC carried out executors role on a relatives Will. A major High Street bank had originally been listed as executors but were in that position through inappropriate local branch exuberance and IWC gave me confidence in obtaining their agreement to stand aside. This action alone saved over £20K in fees!!
 
IWC delivered a first class service and fulfilled their role just as promised. Use of these professionals ensured the correct IHT payment and that what would have been awkward obstacles to a layman where easily overcome. I will absolutely have no hesitation in using them again

In March of 2009, my Brother sadly passed away at the age of 49. As he lived some distance from me I was unaware of his financial position. Basically his estate was insolvent as he owed a fair amount of money to various institutions. As he had no assets, I had to look for a company that would provide a good service at a reasonable cost. After looking at various options, including a number of solicitors I contacted Tony Crocker at IWC. After a chat about things he made a home visit after work and we went through my brothers statements etc. He then took the statements and said they would be able to deal with the situation. This was a relief, as I was beginning to find things difficult having to deal with the grief of losing my brother as well as dealing with the funeral and house clearing etc. Subsequently Tony and Paul Baker have dealt with all the financial institutions and early in the New Year the estate has been finalised.

In the ten months that IWC have been dealing with the estate I have found both Paul and Tony very professional and helpful throughout. Any e-mail messages that I have sent have been responded to within a couple of hours, with many being returned after a few minutes.

I would have no hesitation in recommending IWC to any individual who needed probate assistance. In today's age it is unusual to find such an efficient organisation
